The League's Individual Membership is for people interested in being a member when they are not associated with a member Orchestra.

Please be aware: If you already had credentials to log in, you may want to check your Profile to confirm whether or not you are an existing League member. We've also positioned this membership to display as complimentary for existing members - that's your cue not to complete the purchase because you're already a member of our community!

As an Individual Member of the League, you gain access to the following programs and services:

1. Member savings on all events, including webinars, seminars, and our annual Conference
2. League360 online member forums
3. Member-only content on the League’s website
4. Bi-weekly roundup of orchestra news from Symphony and a copy of the annual print edition of the magazine

Professional Membership

If you are interested in developing your career in the orchestra field, Professional Membership is designed for you. You will receive all of the benefits of Membership plus:

Access to the League’s Job Listings web site with listings of available employment positions. You can post your resume where it is available to member orchestras looking for new employees. You will also be notified by e-mail when new listings are posted.

All staff and musicians, as well as the board and volunteer presidents, of member orchestras receive a complimentary Membership which can be upgraded to Professional Membership for only $55 annually. 

Student Membership

Full- or part-time students and recent graduates receive all the benefits of Individual Membership at a discounted price.

As an Individual Member of the League, you gain access to the following programs and services:

1. Free early bird registration* for the League’s National Conference in June.
2. Member savings on all events, including webinars and seminars.
3. Meet online throughout the year on topics specially tailored to students.
4. League360 online member forums, including a group just for student members of the League.
5. Bi-weekly roundup of orchestra news from Symphony and a copy of the annual print edition of the magazine.
6. Part of a League member organization? Upgrade your inherited benefits with a 50% discount on a Professional Membership. Discount is automatically applied if you’re logged in.

• Public policy and public relations work that amplifies your organization’s voice and helps to tell your story.

Canadian Orchestra Membership

College Orchestra

As a member, your organization benefits from the League’s activities in a number of areas:

• An ambitious research and information program that gives you critical data for making knowledgeable decisions.
• Leadership and learning opportunities that help you and your colleagues meet the needs of your organization today.
• Public policy and public relations work that amplifies your organization’s voice and helps to tell your story.
• Publications and networking resources that connect you and others in your organization with peers and leaders in the field.

Select this option if your Orchestra is a comprised of young musicans, ranging from pre-teens or teenages to those in their mid-20s.

As a member, your organization benefits from the League’s activities in a number of areas:

• An ambitious research and information program that gives you critical data for making knowledgeable decisions.
• Leadership and learning opportunities that help you and your colleagues meet the needs of your organization today.
• Public policy and public relations work that amplifies your organization’s voice and helps to tell your story.

Business members wishing access to job vacancy announcements on jobs.americanorchestras.org, may upgrade their membership to Professional Member for a supplement of $225 annually.

Career Center Membership

Membership benefits include:

1. Bi-weekly roundup of orchestra news from Symphony and a copy of the annual print edition of the magazine
2. Knowledge, Research and Innovation – Access information on every aspect of orchestra operations through the League. Also, you receive a member discount toward the purchase of all League publications and use of the League’s mailing label service.

Library memberships are $15 and are renewable annually.

Library Membership - International

For non-orchestra nonprofit organizations, including music festivals and arts organizations

For other non-orchestra nonprofit organization, including music festivals and arts organizations

Volunteer Organizations of member orchestras are also members of the League. If your orchestra is not a member but your Volunteer Organization would like to join, you can do so for $150
